“scholé” for the ancient greeks was the time dedicated to rest from daily labors, a time to cultivate study and reasoning; it was time devoted to the pleasure of the intellect, an invitation to nourish the mind and spirit. for seneca, it was a true lifestyle, a path of inner growth and search for truth, where teacher and disciple, united by trust, dialogue, and sharing, walked a common path together.
for cicero, instead, scholé was the heart of humanistic education, dedicated to the study of the liberal arts and philosophy. for me, scholé encompasses all of this, but also the time dedicated to the love of doing, of designing and building oneself, where creativity and critical thinking come together with the joy of discovery; a school that looks to the future, fosters research, and generates innovation, yet becomes the guardian of collective memory, passing on to new generations the heritage and value of history. i live for knowledge, work out of love and according to passion. i dream of passing all this on to the youth of the future, following my belief: to designvoicetoverblove.
the act of designing must in fact be a promise, a suggestion of quality, worth, and value, a new opportunity to enter into active relationship with others and with the world around us.
we are all designers—it only depends on how much love and passion we invest, and the strength with which we nurture our ideas and aspirations.
the preparation for design is made of reflections and just as many written words: the right path is to bring words to life, giving them form in a true, real project.
